Start from Lavaldens, the parking area of the Mollard hamlet on the road RD114. Go to the Mollard hamlet with its typical farms, still exploited by farmers. Cross the hamlet, take the largest path on your right which alternates flat lenghts and small climbs until a crossroad where stand a nice little bridge in arches. At this point, you enter in the gorge of the Rif Bruyant. Don't take the bridge but follow the climbing path, you will discover on your right a nice cascade but also the water captations of the city of La Mure. After crossing a large footbridge, take left the narrow path which goes under trees. Continue over 500m to reach the farms of the Rif Bruyant. At the level of the Rif Bruyant hamlet, take left a small path who leads to an old site of cheese caves. There was made the "Bleu de Lavaldens". Do not hesitate to follow the path between stone wall that will make you cross meadows and discover landscapes and pastures of the Rif Bruyant.
