Accessible and family-friendly, this hike takes you to the splendid Lac Vert in Passy. Emerald water, breathtaking views of Mont Blanc and unspoilt nature: an idyllic setting for an unforgettable hike!
Nestled in the heart of a coniferous forest, this easy hike takes you to the magnificent Lac Vert in Passy Mont-Blanc. A true natural jewel, the lake owes its unique emerald color to the presence of algae and the exceptional transparency of its waters, which give a glimpse of submerged trunks and vegetation. This enchanting spectacle attracts the gaze of Mont-Blanc, which is often reflected here in perfect tranquillity.
Classified as a protected natural site, Lac Vert is a fragile ecosystem. To preserve its purity and biodiversity, swimming is strictly forbidden. Even small amounts of sunscreen or other substances can upset the balance.
An ideal walk for young and old, combining wonder and respect for nature.
