Circuit du Duveix

Tour d'Echizadour : tour du 12ème siècle classé monument historique en 1955. Elle est privée. C'est le seul vestige du château des chevaliers d'Echizadour.

Eglise de St Méard : sur la porte latérale on peut voir le blason des signeurs d'Echizadour et des urnes funéraires à l'entrée principale.

Rising to 731 meters, this Resistance stronghold dominates the Limousin mountains, and was the scene of fierce fighting between Maquis and German troops. It is also the scene of fabulous legends. A folk show is held here every August 15. Located in the Commune of Saint-Gilles-les Forêts. The restaurant at Camping Le Cheyenne ! welcomes you every day except Monday. You can enjoy a preserved environment at the edge of the lake and the forest, while being close to shops and services. The railway station of Bujaleuf is 10 minutes away, public transport by bus in the center of the village to join Limoges (shuttle in the morning and evening).
