Mont Gargan

Rising to 731 meters, this Resistance stronghold dominates the Limousin mountains, and was the scene of fierce fighting between Maquis and German troops. It is also the scene of fabulous legends. A folk show is held here every August 15. Located in the Commune of Saint-Gilles-les Forêts.
