Hike "La Borie Waterfall and circular walk"

One of the most beautiful valley in Europe with many panoramic sitesOne of the most beautiful glacial valleys in trough of Europe, according to Haroun Tazieff, famous volcanologist, for its shape in "U" well pronounced. Located at the foot of the Plomb du Cantal, about fifty springs form the stream "Brezons". The valley is overhung by a gigantic plug of lava which evokes the profile of a lion's head (while coming from the Col de la Griffoul at the level of the village of Arzaliès, look on your right). Zone of ecological interest. Cirque of Grandval - circular valley in the end of the Valley of BrezonsMagnificent site dotted with numerous "burons" (stone dwellings used during the summer months transhumance for cheese making and shelter). Path from Col de la Griffoul by foot to join the panoramic view point into the valley of Brezons. 3 waymarked paths from Sanissage, 40 minutes to 3h30. See pages "Waterfalls". Picnic tables.
