Tignes/Val Claret cyclo climb

Mountain lake whose surrounding peaks are majestically reflected. In this grandiose setting, the wide range of activities becomes a real pleasure: jogging, water sports, pedal boats, canoeing, fitness trails, fishing ... and golf.

A vault-type concrete structure, the Tignes dam is one of the highest in the world. In 1952, despite the resistance of the Tignards, the old village of Tignes-les Boisses was razed and drowned under the waters of the lake, causing great national emotion.A tempory mural of 12000 m² is painted on its vault (height. 150 m long. 300 m), it is Le Géant, work of Jean-Marie Pierret.
