Sarreguemines earthenware in all its states! The discreet facade of this town centre building hides its game well! On the first floor, the museum conceals a real treasure classified as a historical monument, almost unsuspected from the outside. If you had been a distinguished guest in 1882, you would probably have been received by Paul de Geiger, the emblematic director of the Sarreguemines earthenware factory, in his magnificent Winter Garden decorated with earthenware tiles. Today, this beautiful house transformed into a museum can be visited all year round. Young and old alike can discover the most beautiful examples of Sarreguemines' internationally renowned earthenware production from the 19th and 20th centuries. One thing is certain, you will see a lot! And don't forget to end your visit with a little diversions to the earthenware kiln... of course! This enormous 11-metre high brick dome is located outside the museum. The ultimate witness of the first industrial revolution still has many secrets to reveal! The Casino des Faïenceries was born out of the desire of Paul de Geiger, director of the Faïenceries, to provide the workers and employees with a place where they could have fun. Next door is the De Geiger Pavilion, which housed the office of Baron Paul de Geiger. Today, it houses an auditorium and beautiful faience frescoes decorate the interior and exterior of the unique building. Stage of the Circuit de la Faïence.

It is a splendid three-swings-mill from 1727, restored in 1990, which remains the ‘thing to see’ in this village. Its waterwheel is a delight for the young and old alike.

Un bon café ? Une boisson bien fraiche ? Direction Le Crocodile à Sarralbe ! Ce bar convivial vous ouvre ses portes toute l’année. Bonne ambiance et accueil chaleureux garanti. En été, la terrasse est parfaite pour se prélasser au soleil. Des concerts et manifestations sont régulièrement organisées par le Crocodile. Petit plus : le bar se trouve à deux pas de la piste cyclable.

This cathedral was built in 1907 on the waterfront. It is located next to an old mill and forms a beautiful architectural ensemble with the Saar bridge and the old gate dating from the 13th century. This unconventional building does not lack charm. When you enter the church, you will be surprised by the narthex, the "vestibule" leading to the left to the old baptismal font. The view over the choir is panoramic. Unfortunately, the beautiful carved pulpit was badly damaged during the events of 1940. To the left, you can admire the fine carvings and biblical messages that decorate the only original confessional. All that remains of the gallery organ is a row of decorative pipes. A new organ, decorated with Sarralbe's emblematic frog, occupies the right apse. The main altar is original and was designed by the architect Rüppel. With its richly decorated statues and bas-reliefs, this altar alone is a teaching tool for the faithful.
