L'Hôtel échevinal
Ce n'est certainement pas la taille d'une ville qui fait la qualité d'un patrimoine. Le village de Noyelles-les-Seclin en est la preuve puisqu'il possède l'un des rares vestiges de la tradition échevinale chère à notre région. Situé en plein cœur du village, ce bâtiment a obtenu en 2013 son titre de Monument Historique. Bâti en 1773 et mairie jusqu'à l'aube des années 1980, l'hôtel échevinal est la mémoire d'une commune à l'histoire bien plus riche qu'on ne peut l’imaginer de prime abord.
Chapelle Notre Dame de Lourdes
En débouchant sur la rue, prenez le temps de regarder la chapelle Notre-Dame de Lourdes. Elle fut construite en 1929 en hommage à un jeune agriculteur noyellois de 34 ans, Narcisses Laurent, mort et disparu le 25 septembre 1915, à la bataille de la butte de Mesnil en Champagne.
Eglise Saint Martin
L'Eglise de Noyelles-Lez-Seclin adopte un plan au sol en forme de croix latine et curieusement les abat-sons ne semblent pas dans l'axe du clocher. Comme bien des églises, un cimetière l'entourait jusqu'en 1897. Les plaques funéraires incluses en ces murs en témoignent. Celle donnait à proximité de la porte latérale sud un hommage à un nourrisson décédé au bout de quatre jours en 1620. Une phrase latine dit : "Comme une fleur qui éclot et se fane". L'intérieur révèle dans le Chœur un magnifique retable de la Résurrection, non loin une statue de Saint-Jean Baptiste et Jésus. En levant les yeux au niveau du transept, des poutres sculptées. Ces "corbeaux" ne sont pas sans rappeler celles présentes en l'église Saint Martin à Houplin-Ancoisne. Enfin la nef occupée par une Crucifixion datant de 1624, ancienne pièce picturale appartenant à un couvent dominicain de Lille.
La Becque
Vous longez un petit cours d'eau portant le nom de Becque. Ce nom viendrait d'un mot germanique, baki signifiant ruisseau. Aujourd'hui, son lit est bétonné, mais il prend toujours source dans un hameau de Wattignies, l'Amiteuse et rejoint le vois d'Emmerin. Notre contrée est parsemée de petits fossés drainants souvent appelés "riez".
Moulin
Ce moulin est un rare témoignage de la présence pourtant importante de telles constructions dans le paysage de Mélantois entre Seclin et Lille. Le premier moulin noyellois est mentionné en 1372. Au cours des siècles, ces moulins à vent servaient à moudre le blé, la weddre (plante tinctoriale donnant un bleu bien particulier, dont le "bleu France". Jusqu'à l'introduction du pastel, sa culture et sa fabrication occupaient une grande partie de la population locale.), les céréales ou à fabriquer de l'huile. Ce moulin, construit par Henri Malfait en 1845, avait une toiture pivotante lui permettant de se mettre face au vent. Il fonctionnera jusqu'en 1910 et fut remplacé par un moulin à vapeur installé sur la Grande Place du village.
