The Centre d'observation de la nature de l'Île du Beurre is an association whose mission is to manage, preserve and promote a remarkable natural area.The Nature Observation Center of the Beurre Isle offers a chance to discover the wildlife and flora along the banks of the Rhône : - Self-guided visits on the Beaver Trail. The path, which is free and accessible all year round, is equipped with observation points and panels that provide information on the discreet wildlife and flora of the site. - Outings and activities for individuals and families, supervised by a guide, available by reservation - Nature Center is open from May to November

The Nature reserve of Platière Island represents a surface about 500 hectares. Between Lône and the Old Rhône, you can walk through the alluvial forest, "small jungle" atmosphere guaranteed !

Every year, over 220,000 festival-goers come to meet the 1,000 artists performing on 4 stages, including the most legendary: the Théâtre Antique.This internationally-renowned festival honours all kinds of music: gospel, blues, soul, funk, ethnic... They will all find a special place on the festival stages, as the event is fully experienced both at the Théâtre Antique and on one of the different stages. The Théâtre Antique, built in the 1st century, is the emblematic venue of Jazz à Vienne. Its unique acoustics, combined with its history, provide an exceptional setting for the public and the internationally renowned artists who perform there. A true blend of the modern and the ancient, a sincere musical melting pot, the festival is rich in diversity and open to all. Jazz à Vienne looks forward to welcoming you to the 45th edition of the festival in 2026. This anniversary edition marks the birth of an unprecedented partnership between Jazz à Vienne and the Annecy International Animation Film Festival. Over the 65 years of its existence, this festival has established itself as the world's biggest event dedicated to animation. It encompasses the Festival and the Marché international du film d'animation, offering a rich programme of screenings, previews, retrospectives, conferences, exhibitions and more. Celebrating creativity and the diversity of styles and techniques (from drawing to virtual reality), the event brings together talent from all over the world. The first fruit of this collaboration will be the visual identity for the 2026 edition of Jazz à Vienne, entrusted to Lucrèce Andreae, a product of the creative pool at the Annecy Festival, where her work was selected in competition and awarded a Special Jury Prize for her graduation film in 2011. Lucrèce then went on to present her animated short, Pépé Le Morse, which won the 2017 Annecy Festival Audience Award. The quality of her work, her ability to explore different artistic forms with brio, her sensitivity and the visual splendour shown in the first images of her next film augur well for the future of the Jazz à Vienne 2026 line-up.

Secondary arm of the river in saint-Romain-en-Gal offers a playground for walkers, riders, fishermen and "pétanque" players. To try: health path and a "guinguette"(coffee snack bar).

The museum is inside the Saint-Sornin chapel, a classified monument. It has three main sections: - a collection of recently uncovered religious frescoes - the necropolis church - canal transport and bargee crosses (fixed to the front of the barges).

The Saint-Romain-en-Gal archaeological site is one of the biggest in France devoted to Gallo-Roman civilisation. The museum is at the heart of a 7-hectare cultural park that has brought new life to this residential district in Vienne.Here you can see the thermal baths, workshops, homes and shops unearthed since 1967. The museum is divided into four areas: the history of Vienne in Antiquity, the economy and crafts, mosaics and daily life in the Roman home. The restoration workshop is in charge of preserving the mosaics. It is internationally recognised for the quality of its work. All through the year, you can see the permanent collections during themed visits and children's workshops. Each year, the museum hosts temporary exhibitions and musical activities, storytelling and exceptional events, such as the Gallo-Roman Days and the Vinalia (Roman grape harvest).

Hérons, canards, castors, libellules, orchidées se nichent au coeur du plus grand écrin de verdure de la moyenne vallée du Rhône. Partez à la découverte de ce territoire avec 4 circuits thématiques balisés.Quatre sentiers de découverte sont répartis dans et autour la réserve naturelle et abordent différents aspects de la plaine alluviale, l'usage de l'eau et les aménagements du Rhône. Un bac à chaînes permet d'accéder à l'île et sa "petite jungle", coeur de la réserve naturelle, et un observatoire offre une vue sur le Rhône naturel et ses oiseaux : hérons, martin-pêcheurs, aigrettes, grands cormorans... Peut-être qu'avec un peu de patience, vous pourrez apercevoir un castor en soirée qui remonte la lône...
