A route that offers lots of surprises, running along the Dérochoir and the long rocky wall of Les Fiz before reaching the Col d'Anterne from where there is a view of the magnificent green-blue coloured lake (the largest mountain lake in Haute-Savoie).
From the Plaine Joux parking lot, set off on the tour of the Mont Blanc region
Blanc in the direction of the Chalets d'Ayères and the refuge de Moëde Anterne. Your path skirts the Fiz chain, with the Pointes d'Ayères and d'Anterne above you. Leave the refuge de Moëde and climb to the Col d'Anterne. Your Alfred Wills refuge is in line with it.
