1 km after leaving Flumet, this pass begins with... a descent into the Arrondine gorges. Crossing the village of La Giettaz marks the start of the ascent, with 7 km remaining to reach the summit,
he climb from Flumet is irregular, with a much more difficult second part after passing through La Giettaz. The panorama is exceptional, with views over the Val d'Arly, Beaufortain and Aravis ranges. The last kilometer offers views of Mont Blanc before reaching the summit, the boundary between the two Savoy departments.
