Col des Aravis from Flumet
Description
After 2 km on a shady road at a gradient of 8%, a 2-km descent provides a welcome respite before the upper section of the climb. Here, the gradient is very irregular and the open meadows offer almost no protection from the sun.
The final kilometre provides wonderful views of Mont Blanc.

Le Dard waterfall
Pretty waterfall located between Flumet and La Giettaz, on the side of the D-road. It also bears the nickname of the Bride’s Veil. Le Dard is the name of the mountain river, stopped mid-flow by a slate cliff.
Beach at Flumet's lake
The lake, situated between Albertville and Mégève, is ideal for swimming and relaxation and makes up part of the Arrondine leisure centre with its various sporting facilities and children’s play equipment. Set in a leafy corner of the area.Supervised swimming in July and August. ATTENTION: vacation centers, groups or other groups may access the lake only in the morning until 12:00 noon or after 6:00 p.m. under the condition that they have their own means of surveillance and rescue, and under their own responsibility.
