The climb up to the Hospice de France is a short but formidable ascent, renowned for its extremely demanding final stretch. It features two distinct sections, changing from a gently rising section to some gruelling gradients.
The road between Pont de Ravi and the Hospice de France is closed every year from 30 November to 15 April (these dates may be extended depending on weather conditions).
Head towards the south exit of Luchon and take the D125.
The first 5 kilometres follow the same route as the climb to Superbagnères.
