Les deux Maumonts

This route allows you to admire the views over Donzenac and its plain from the village of Mazières.
It then sinks into the shaded valley of the two Maumonts, which it crosses at the mill of Theil, to emerge on the top of the slopes by the charming village of Cévennes.
It then dips back into the Maumonts valley one last time before reaching the famous Travassac slate quarry site
Finally, a short detour to the medieval village of Donzenac allows you to take a refreshing break in the town square before finishing this hike.
