Cantine Lapisa

With fresh air and spectacular views in abundance, this quaint high-altitude farm is also a restaurant and alpine gite, serving homemade local delicacies
In winter, the Lapisa is one of our favourite on-piste stops for a hot drink on the snowy terrace, or for a delicious fondue in the snug restaurant. Our menu offers a selection of delicious local specialities, including sausages, fondue, cured meats, fruit tarts, and our renowned Lapisa alpine cheese.

In summer, in addition to the mountain restaurant, the Lapisa goes back to being a real, working farm. Visitors can observe us milking the cows and goats and get a peek at the cheesemaking process. This is a fascinating look at one of the Val d'Illiez's most important economic activities!

You can even take home a taste of the Alps with a scrumptious souvenir. At the alpage, we sell our speciality cheeses, tommes, cheese curds, and sausages.
