The lake Daumesnil, in the wood of Vincennes, is recognizable in its central island. We can walk in boat there. It possesses two different islands, the island of Reuilly and the island of Bercy, connected by bridges. The island of Reuilly raises an artificial cave and a waterfall with a romantic rotunda due to the architect Gabriel Davioud. Everything around the lake, a path of the name of the painter Maurice Boitel, allows the pedestrians to travel the edges of the stretch of water. It is seen frequently by numerous joggers.
The lake of Minimes, in the wood of Vincennes, took the name of the religious order based by Saint-François-de-Paule who possessed this ground of the 16th century in the Revolution. It is punctuated by three islands. Walks in boat are proposed there. Take advantage on the spot of the chalet of restoration and of bicycle hires.
