Marina of Arsenal
It was formerly the port of goods that became since 1983 a marina. Between xvie and xixe centuries, in the location of the pond, raises itself an arsenal which gave him his name. With the increase of the traffic of barges on the Saint-Martin canal during the xixe century and a big part of the xxe century, the pond of the Arsenal became an important commercial harbor of Paris. Of a length of 600 m, the pond facilitates the load and the unloading of the goods, essentially the wine, the wheat and the wood.
Double locks of the temple
The canal contains several ponds: pond of the Deaths; pond of the Fight; pond Louis-white; pond of Récollets; pond of Swamps ("bassin des Morts ; bassin du Combat ; bassin Louis-Blanc ; bassin des Récollets ; bassin des Marais"); they are separated by five locks among which four are double: lock of La Villette (no 1 and 2); lock of the Deaths (no 3 and 4); lock of the Récollets (no 5 and 6); lock of the Temple (no 7 and 8); lock of the Arsenal (no 9).

The Vault, "La Voûte", entered by the tunnel
The Saint-Martin canal is then covered from the boulevard Jules-Ferry (vault of the Temple realized in 1907). It passes then under the boulevard Richard-Lenoir (vault Richard Lenoir built between 1860 and 1862), and finally under the place of the Bastille (vault of the Bastille realized in 1862) to open on the port of the Arsenal. Vaults Richard Lenoir and of the Temple are drilled of oculi of ventilation. They also allow the natural lighting of the tunnel.
Footbridge of Customs, "Passerelle des Douanes"
The footbridge of Customs (so called footbridge of the Temple and the footbridge of Douanes-et-du-Temple) is a pedestrian footbridge. It crosses the pond of the Marais of the Saint-Martin canal, near the locks of the Temple. It is situated in the continuation of the street Léon-Jouhaux, between the quay(platform) of Valmy and the quay of Jemmapes, at the end of the public garden Frédérick-Lemaître.
Footbridge Alibert
It crosses the pond of the Marais of the Saint-Martin canal, near the bascule bridge of the street Dieu whom it overhangs, between the crossroads of the street Dieu and of the quay of Valmy in right bank and that of the street Alibert and the quay of Jemmapes.
Bascule bridge of the street Dieu
It crosses the pond of the Marais of the Saint-Martin canal, near the footbridge Alibert, between the crossroads of the street Dieu and of the quay of Valmy in right bank and that of the street Alibert and the quay of Jemmapes in left bank.
Footbridge Richeland
The footbridge Richerand crosses the pond of the Marais of the Saint-Martin canal at the level of the avenue Richerand in left bank, and of the street Jean-Poulmarch, of the street of Marseille and the street Beaurepaire in right bank. The footbridge is established by two big reconstituted welded beams forming crutches and lifeline of the apron, the staircases of access are half fitted out on piles of masonry on both sides of the canal and half between the big beams.
Bascule bridge of Grange-aux-Belles
The bridge crosses the pond of the Marais of the Saint-Martin canal, downstream to the locks of Récollets, near the footbridge of Grange-aux-Belles. It connects the quay of Valmy at the level of the street of Lancry in right bank with the quay of Jemmapes at the level of the street of Grange-aux-Belles, to whom he owes his name.

Footbridge Bichat

Bridge Eugène-Varlin
The bridge crosses the pond of Récollets of the Saint-Martin canal, downstream to the locks of the Deaths and the public garden Eugène-Varlin. It connects the quay of Valmy at the level of the street Eugène-Varlin in right bank with the quay of Jemmapes at the level of the street of Écluses-Saint-Martin. Since March-April, 2009, the bridge Eugène-Varlin is provided with a cycle track with nonsense within the framework of the development of bicycle paths begun in 2001 by the city hall of Paris.

Footbridge of the locks of the Villette
The footbridge crosses the locks of the Villette in the kilometric point 0 of the Saint-Martin canal, in the outlet of the pond of the Villette, to connect the quay of the Loire instead of Bataille-de-Stalingrad, near the rotunda of the Villette and the MK2 quay of the Loire.
Footbridge of the Moselle
Pedestrian footbridge it crossed the pond of the Villette in its center, to connect the quay of the Loire with the South (where it begins in the alignment of the street of the Moselle) in the bank of the Seine in the North (where it ends almost in the axis of the passage of Flanders). Built in 1882 by the engineer and the entrepreneur Armand Moisant, it had in the time a height under key of 11,60 meters for a reach of 86 meters in a single bow, and was decorated with a clock 3 meters in diameter. This work, become dilapidated, was replaced in 1966.
Bridge raising of the street of Crimée
