Le parc des Béatus et le chemin de halage
Partir de la place face à l’Hôtel de Ville d’Epinay sur Seine, rejoindre la rue de Paris, la suivre par la gauche jusqu’à la place René Clair et l’Église Saint-Médard, aller à gauche rue Monribot, à gauche rue Mulot et Quétigny pour gagner le parc des Béatus et rejoindre le Chemin de Halage de la Seine.
Le chemin de halage le long du canal
Suivre par la gauche le Chemin de Halage de la Seine pour poursuivre sur celui du Canal afin de rejoindre la rue du Port à Saint Denis, au passage du T1. Suivre, en face, la rue Ernest Renan, à droite le Boulevard Marcel Sembat, à gauche la Villa Dante, à droite le Boulevard Jules Guesde, à gauche la rue Moreau, la rue des Ursulines, en 2 éme gauche prendre la rue de la Boulangerie, la rue des Boucheries puis la rue du Cygne, rejoindre sur la droite la place Victor Hugo, ou se trouve la Basilique Saint-Denis.
Rejoindre le parc Georges-Valbon
Traverser le jardin Pierre de Montreuil, sur la gauche de la Basilique, pour suivre la rue de Strasbourg, contourner le cimetière par la gauche dans l’avenue Lénine, en face traverser le square Marcel Cachin, aller à gauche rue Henri Barbusse, à droite avenue de Stalingrad puis à gauche rue Jean Ferrat. Tourner à droite dans la rue Jean Durand, à droite rue Victor Hugo, rue Léon Gounod et avenue du Paty. A la place Marcel Pointet, suivre à gauche l’avenue Paul Vaillant Couturier, passer devant l’Hotel de Ville de Stains, prendre à droite l’avenue Louis Bordes, la rue Albert Einstein, traverser l’avenue de Stalingrad et la suivre par la gauche jusqu’à l’entrée du parc Georges- Valbon.
A travers le parc Georges-Valbon
Entrer dans le parc et suivre le balisage du GR 655 "blanc et rouge" jusqu’au pont des Iris, le traverser puis suivre le balisage jaune du PR 5 sur la gauche pour rejoindre le belvédère. Suivre l’allée à droite, aller au belvédére, descendre vers le lac, avant la Maison du Parc, tourner à gauche, prendre l’allée circulaire et rejoindre la Maison Glissant par la prairie, lieu des manifestations sportives.

Basilica Saint-Denis
The Basilica of Saint Denis (French: Basilique royale de Saint-Denis, or simply Basilique Saint-Denis) is a large medieval abbey church in the city of Saint-Denis, now a northern suburb of Paris. The building is of unique importance historically and architecturally as its choir, completed in 1144, shows the first use of all of the elements of Gothic architecture. The site originated as a Gallo-Roman cemetery in late Roman times. The archeological remains still lie beneath the cathedral; the people buried there seem to have had a faith that was a mix of Christian and pre-Christian beliefs and practices.Around 475 St. Genevieve purchased some land and built Saint-Denys de la Chapelle. In 636 on the orders of Dagobert I the relics of Saint Denis, a patron saint of France, were reinterred in the basilica. The relics of St-Denis, which had been transferred to the parish church of the town in 1795, were brought back again to the abbey in 1819. The basilica became a place of pilgrimage and the burial place of the French Kings with nearly every king from the 10th to the 18th centuries being buried there, as well as many from previous centuries. (It was not used for the coronations of kings, that function being reserved for the Cathedral of Reims; however, French Queens were commonly crowned there.) "Saint-Denis" soon became the abbey church of a growing monastic complex. In the 12th century the Abbot Suger rebuilt portions of the abbey church using innovative structural and decorative features. In doing so, he is said to have created the first truly Gothic building.[3] The basilica's 13th-century nave is the prototype for the Rayonnant Gothic style, and provided an architectural model for many medieval cathedrals and abbeys of northern France, Germany, England and a great many other countries. The abbey church became a cathedral in 1966 and is the seat of the Bishop of Saint-Denis. Georges Valbon Country Park (La Courneuve)
Georges Valbon Country Park covers acres of open space, which is managed for the benefit of outdoor-life for the community and visitors. The site was formerly once part of the prairie of France. This park in La Courneuve is known now as the largest man-made park since the era of Napoleon III. However, its essential integrity was saved from urbanization through the persevering land key-policy actors. Their aim was to manage and protect this open-space area and its wildlife for the benefit of the public in an urban environment.
