Description

In the protected area of the Vanoise National Park, the Mont refuge enjoys a rich fauna and flora, as well as a superb panorama of the surrounding glaciers and mountain pastures.
A real refuge at an altitude of 2374 m.
Refuge of the Club Alpin Français, at an altitude of 2,373 m
Open from mid-June to mid-September (ask the warden for more information).
Open in spring only by reservation.
2.5 hours walk from Les Lanches and 1.5 hours from the top of the Transarc.
4 dormitories. One with 20 places, two with 15 places, a "guide" dormitory with 5 places. 55 places

Village or nearest station: Peisey-Nancroix or Arc 2000. Walking time from nearest car park: 2 hours walking. Possible access by ski lifts from Arcs 1800 (Transarc) and 1 hour of walk. Access by trail, winter in snowshoes and ski touring. Coach parking at Les Arcs 1800 or 2000, Rosuel (Peisey-Nancroix). Possible access authorized in 4X4 for the rescue. - IGN maps: 3532 AND Les Arcs - La Plagne.
