Pormenaz lake and mountain

In the heart of the nature reserve, Pormenaz lake sits perched at an altitude of 1,945 m in the small Pormenaz Massif, which forms part of the Aiguilles Rouges crystalline range.
Contemplate Mont Blanc from a different angle. Travel a few kilometers out of Chamonix and find yourself alone, like the great explorers in their time. Pormenaz is still the preferred terrain of shepherds and loners. From this long crest, a dreamy mountain landscape is revealed.
