In the Bauges Mountains, at 1572 meters elevation, this mountain hut-farm with spectacular views of Mont Blanc welcomes you to sleep near the goats and sheep. Taste the organic cheeses made on site by Marie and Stéphane. Meals made with produce from our farm.Savoyard style cuisine: soup, pork cuts, potato fritters (reservation required and only for lunch), dessert of the day. Hut on the Lake Annecy GRP through-hike trail. Summits: Pointe de Banc Plat, Mont Trélod. Day hikes: Croix du Roy, Pointe de Banc Plat, La Combe. Multi-day hikes: Circumnavigate Dent des Portes Peak starting in Bellecombe en Bauges with a night stay in the La Combe hut. Getting here: from Lathuile (Saury), from Doussard via Combe d'Ire, from Bellecombe en Bauges (Le Reposoir). Getting here from Chevaline, parking lot (follow signs to Trou de l'Enfer Falls). In winter only: unstaffed, contact Lathuile city hall for details.
