Description :
Réalisée par la technique de la soudure à l'arc, cette sculpture monumentale tire son réalisme de la démarche éthologique des deux artistes. Ces derniers se documentent et se nourrissent de leur sujet afin de reproduire au mieux l'instinct de l'animal et le mouvement.

Présentation de l'artiste et de sa démarche :
Artiste autodidacte, Manon Perrier grandit dans le Périgord. À 20 ans, elle rejoint un collectif d'artistes en Anjou, où elle rencontrera en 2017 Alexandre Guilmard. Ce dernier est angevin et effectue diverses professions (magicien, illustrateur, tatoueur…) avant de se consacrer à la sculpture. De leur rencontre naîtront notamment de multiples œuvres aux silhouettes animalières.

Description :
A BUTTERFLY (steel) Thanks to the arc welding technique, the realism of this monumental sculpture becomes obvious and shows both artists’ethological approach. Indeed, they gather information and feed on their subject in order to reproduce as precisely as possible animal instinct and motion.

Presentation of the artist and his / her approach :
Manon Perrier is a self-taught artist who grew up in the Perigord region. When she was 20, she joined a group of artists in Anjou, and met Alexandre Guilmard, an artist living in Angers. The latter had various artistic experiences (he was a magician, an illustrator, a tattoo artist) before devoting himself to sculpting. They created lots of wildlife style works together.
