Spot d'Ilbarritz

The beach of Ilbarritz is the first beach before arriving at the center of Bidart, just after the Milady, going down from Biarritz. It is just behind the Ilbarritz golf course and overlooked by the castle of the same name.
The spot is relatively accessible and works best at low and mid tide. It is suitable for all types of surfers, whether beginners or experienced. Although it is a beachbreak, be careful because there are some rocks to the south of the beach.
Beware in summer, the spot is very busy, you will have to be attentive to other surfers in the water.
You will find parking, public showers and toilets, and restaurants.
