Pottokak

Sare, a typical small village in the Basque Country near the Spanish border, is located 14 km from Saint Jean de Luz. In the middle of nature, 7km from the centre of Sare, the Etxola animal park offers you the "Pottokak" activity
Children will have the opportunity to go for rides on the back of pottok, a breed of ponies living mainly in the west of the Basque Country. Three routes are available: 1/4h, 1/2h or 1h. The pottok are held on the rope by the parents (1 parent/pony). At the start, you will be given a map of the course as well as safety advice. The children are equipped with a bomb (provided) and the parents who accompany the pottok must be equipped with closed shoes (walking shoes, tennis shoes...). Attention, places are limited according to the number of visitors.
