Jardin des Plantes Médicinales et Verger

The gardens are a recent creation. It's a young collection of local plants known for their curative but dangerous actions. Traditionally, our ancestors harvested these plants to treat themselves. The Antonines used a preparation of 14 plants, some of which can be found in the garden, to treat "mal des ardents".
The orchard features a hundred varieties of apple, pear, grape and rose trees. Created during the renovation of the complex, its purpose is to preserve the memory of many species that have become rare.
