Description

Spanning the Thouet between Thouars and St. Radegund, and 200m long, the viaduct built by Gustave Eiffel for the company in 1872 is impressive. Still active, he recalled that the region experienced its growth through the railway. Situated on the Paris-Bordeaux-Tours Les Sables d'Olonne, Thouars was at the beginning of the twentieth century one of the largest deposits of steam in the West.
