Enjoy the quiet picnic area with a playground on site! A few steps away, go and discover the Gallo-Roman hypogeum, a very rare monument in the West of France. This is a pagan hypogeum dating from the Gallo-Roman period. It was discovered in 1898 by Mr Moreau while working in his field! While digging deep, he uncovered an entrance door and also discovered a burial chamber containing two stone coffins. The hypogeum is classified as a Historic Monument, it would probably date from the end of the 4th century!
