Porte de Landelies

The main entrance to the former fortified wall, it comprises a bas-relief “Lactation of St. Bernard”. The wording at the bottom may be translated as: “Landelin had these buildings erected with the title Aulne (Alder), as a tribute to the trees in the surrounding area.”
