Towards 670 Saint Berchaire looks for a place for a monastery. He found to Lutosa a favorable place. Supported by bishop St. Léger, he obtained from king Childeric the permission to build a basilica dedicated to Saint Martin.
The Church Saint Martin shelters a window of the XIIIth century, they are the oldest stained-glass windows of the department
