Description
This tank is a tribute to the 2nd and 3rd US Armoured Divisions and their attached units who stopped the German invaders in December 1944 and liberated La Roche-en-Ardenne and its villages in January 1945 during the Battle of the Bulge.The monument was inaugurated in 2004, to mark the 60th anniversary of the Battle of the Bulge.Further information: The M4A1 Sherman tank at La Roche-en-Ardenne
