Parcours Patrimoine : le village né de la forge

First real mountain village of the valley of Ouzoum, Arthez-d'Asson is also a municipality created recently, in 1787. Formerly off-centered district of the vast agro-pastoral community of Asson, the new community forms itself gradually around an industrial concern, a forge ( ferrarie ) established in 1588. This track leads you through districts and their holdings, the various stages of the constitution of the village. The long economic tradition of the place will serve as main thread, from the manufacturing of the iron to that of the electricity.
