Description
In the hamlet of Assouste, 2 km from Eaux-Bonnes (in Ossau Valley): the small Romanesque chapel dates from the twelfth century - Its vault is classified as historical monuments. Itinerant artists of Compostela pilgrimage were probably carved corbels of the apse, the capitals of the portal and the delicate tympanum which two angels hold a Chrism.
