Description
Come and discover Soumensac and its magnificent scenery! You'll appreciate the exceptional panoramic views over the vineyards and the Dropt, marking the border with the Dordogne, and fed by the largest hillside lake in Aquitaine. Weather permitting, the view extends as far as the Pyrenees.
Take a stroll through this attractive, picturesque village: the magnificent 1884 washhouse, the tool museum, the 13th-century Romanesque church and the Lac de l'Escourroux are not to be missed! In Soumensac, you'll find passionate winemakers producing AOC Côtes de Duras red and white wines.
A café associatif has opened in the village every Tuesday and Friday afternoon out of season, and on Sunday afternoons in season (flexible hours depending on volunteer availability, see their facebook page). Friendly, cultural atmosphere and co-working space.
