Close to the Landes de Gascogne Regional Nature Park, Saint-Pierre-de-Buzet marks the transition between the sloping vineyards and the Landes forest. Today, the panorama from the lookout table is vast: vineyards and hillsides, but also the hills of the Pays de Serres and the Pech-de-Berre on the horizon, the major river bed and its cornfields. Here you'll have the opportunity to discover three wine appellations: Buzet, of course, but also Agenais and the much lesser-known Comté Tolosan. Finally, approach the Peyrelongue tower, an 8 m-high Gallo-Roman pile located on a Roman road, overlooking the Garonne opposite the Lot valley: its niche was once used to monitor the flow of people and goods in this wide corridor. In the shade of cork oaks and in the heart of vineyards, enjoy this gentle landscape.
