Eglise Saint Clair de Gouts

This imposing Gothic church with a bell-tower-wall, set in a clearing in the middle of the Landes forest, was built on a slight eminence which dominates the Ciron river bed. The enclosure surrounding this 14th century building included a cemetery. On the slope leading from the church to the Ciron, there are three built fountains, as well as four others unbuilt, part of the same circuit and called "miraculous".
