Already existing, it served as a new church when the population was transferred to this town around 1678. It was surrounded by a cemetery (moved in the 19th century) closed to the north by the hospital house, which still exists and together with the church forms a very interesting complex with a medieval past. The old cemetery had an entrance porch which today serves as the front porch of the church.
The entrance porch was created later. The sanctuary vault has 7 ribs. The keystone of the vault has 8 branches carved and finished in shamrock. The 3 windows are mullioned in the style of the 15th c.
Around 1600, we note the description of 2 side chapels. The choir was probably closed.
The stained glass windows are by a contemporary Landes artist. On the north wall of the church one notices a wooden cross Christ from an uncertain period.
