The church of Saint-Martin-de-Montphélix, in Romanesque style, is the oldest building in Pondaurat. It dates from the 11th century and was partly rebuilt in the 17th century. The church is mentioned in the cartulary of La Réole in 1097, when the two brothers of Loubenx, leaving for the Crusade, gave half of their income to Auger de Landerron, prior of the monastery of La Réole.
The walls and apse are from the 11th century; the historiated Romanesque gate, to the south, is from the 12th century.
