The church of Saint Paul d'Audenge, in neo-gothic style, was built at Aux Places between 1878 and 1880 by the contractor Pierre Lafon de Salles under the direction of the architect Jules Mondet from Bordeaux.
The church, facing southwest, was built on a rectangular plan of 32 m x 15 m with its bell tower reaching 35 meters.
It houses the statue of Saint Yves, the patron saint of the town of Audenge; Yves is considered a healing saint.
Every May 19th, many pilgrims come to ask for his favors; Saint Yves is also the patron saint of sailors and fishermen.
