Maison Messidan
Description
The imposing fortified house in the former Rendesse suburb has an exceptional vaulted cellar for civil architecture. The structure, which is trapezoidal in plan, is vaulted with ridges falling on two octagonal axial piers, like a chapter house. The vaults are all made of seated, squared and "smile" treated rubble.
