This church would have existed since the Romanesque period, but in 1868 it was almost completely rebuilt. The façade preserves in its lower part some old elements, among them the portal from the XVIth century. The single nave, which ends in the east with a semicircular chevet (described by Leo Drouyn when he passed through in April 1866), has been replaced by a building in the shape of a cross with a well-marked transept and a polygonal chevet.
The dimly lit nave is covered with a panelled ceiling. Its painted walls imitate a regular medium device. The choir capitals have an interesting polychrome decoration.
