Vestiges de l'Abbaye de l'Isle
Description
The Abbey Des Chanoines Saint-Pierre was founded in the 11th or 12th century. It is a collegiate church of canons regular. The first testimony concerning the building is an epitaph. The abbey is in ruins since 1708. Today, some architectural elements remain (bedside wall, fortified gate, protective ditch, ruins of the monastic buildings...). The paths surrounding the remains make it a great place to walk.
