Eglise Saint-Pierre de Civrac-Médoc
Description
Some archaic sculptures, perhaps predating the Christian building, possibly indicate the presence of a Gallo-Roman temple on the site. The building still has a 12th century Romanesque apse and traces of fortifications, rare in the Médoc.
The church is closed to the public outside of ceremonies.
