Tumuli de Marimbault
Description
They were discovered and reported by L. Cadis in the 1950s. He actively prospected this sector of the Gironde and excavated some of these tumuli. He brought structures to light and collected remains from the 1st Iron Age (funerary urns, metal objects). These tumuli are burials, there are several in the south Gironde and along the Leyre valley.
