Pigeonnier du Château d'Yquem
Description
The dovecote, 1604. The courtyard of the castle is partly enclosed by crenellated walls. Round towers occupy 3 of the corners; one of these towers, located at the southern corner, houses this dovecote. With a pepperpot roof, it is pierced by 2 flight dormers; an opening in the wall also allowed birds to come and go.
