Piles de l'ancien pont métallique de Langon
Description
A first structure, a suspension bridge, was built in 1831 to cross the Garonne at this location. It was replaced by a metal Eiffel-type bridge. Of the two piers, remnants of the "Eiffel" bridge, one was destroyed to improve navigation conditions on the Garonne, in particular for the routing of A380 parts.
