Eglise Saint-Jean de Gornac

This church consists of a single nave, an apse and a transept. The only ancient elements are the portal and the massive gable bell tower of tripartite composition. Its first level is constituted by the portal and the second level is a kind of transition between the first and the third. This last level is in fact composed of two openings where the bells are located and an opening above in order to preserve harmony. The portal has three arches falling on small columns. The capitals are decorated with plant motifs.
