Description

The church was built in the middle of the 11th century on a hillock overlooking the Gât-Mort, of which some remains of the outer ramparts remain. Of the Romanesque style with three naves, only the apse and the north apsidal chapel remain, remarkable for their three levels of various materials: at the bottom, a base of small stonework, a middle part of ashlar, and then, beyond a cornice on corbels, an upper part of rubble, probably added when the building was extended. Each buttress is surmounted by a column framed by two colonnettes.
The windows are framed by two columns supporting a wolf's tooth archivolt. The apse is a listed building.
