The church of Notre-Dame de Taillecavat has the peculiarity of having a bell tower-wall pierced with five bays intended to receive a relatively important carillon for the region. The bell, cast in 1808, is made from one of the oldest bells in France, offered by Count Etudes in 888 to reward the inhabitants for resisting the Normans. The porch which shelters the door to the south, the sundial to the east and the buttresses also distinguish this church. The interior keeps the imprint of successive alterations, from the Romanesque period with the historiated capitals of the choir to the north aisle of the 16th century.
