This church was given to the chapter of Saint-Emilion by Raymond III, bishop of Bazas, around 1145 or 1146. The Romanesque nave is the oldest element, with the west portal and the apse with columns with historiated capitals and cornice on modillions. The building has been modified over time, as can be seen from the flamboyant windows that pierce the nave and the choir, which was rebuilt in the 16th century. On the north side, two bays and three buttresses identical to those of the south wall were created at the end of the 19th century.
The church is listed in the supplementary inventory of Historic Monuments.
