Leo Drouyn called it "an ugly church". In its present state, the church bears the mark of multiple transformations which are difficult to date because of the cement plaster that covers some exterior walls. The nave, built in the 16th century, has three bays, a flat ceiling and a low side to the south. The latter part is connected to the vessel by two semicircular arches and lit by windows dating from the 16th and 17th centuries. The nave is completed by a long, rounded choir that is contemporary to it. The 17th-century bell tower is on the west facade. The bell, classified Historic Monument, would be one of the oldest in Gironde (1553).
